Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Cedar Timber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Providence, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
