Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Vale Press produces print and digital publications in Providence. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 158 people based in Providence. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
