Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Rowan Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Providence presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
