Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Hollow Arts Center is an arts centre in Providence with a full calendar of events, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
