Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Cedar Oak Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Providence working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 375 people based in Providence. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about accessibility audits. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
