Harborlight Rook Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Portland. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
