Silverline Umber Civic Services supports public agencies in Pittsburgh with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
