Content Writer - newsletters (Pittsburgh, PA)

Westbrook Corner Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Pittsburgh area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about water quality. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
