Content Writer - newsletters (Orlando, FL)

Lumen Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Orlando. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
