Content Writer - newsletters (Omaha, NE)

Silverline Hollow Civic Services works with county and city offices around Omaha. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 132 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about procurement. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
