Content Writer - newsletters (Oklahoma City, OK)

Summit Cross Civic Services works with county and city offices around Oklahoma City, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
