Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Oakland design routes and schedules, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
