Content Writer - newsletters (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
