Content Writer - newsletters (Minneapolis, MN)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Minneapolis working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
