Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Minneapolis working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
