Content Writer - newsletters (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Harbor Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
