Content Writer - newsletters (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone West Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Knoxville presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
