Content Writer - newsletters (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Indianapolis. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
