Content Writer - newsletters (Indianapolis, IN)

Cedar Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Indianapolis and nearby communities. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with capital projects.
