Content Writer - newsletters (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cobalt Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
