Content Writer - newsletters (Houston, TX)

Rivermark Beacon Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Houston supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about donor records. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
