Bright Vista Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Houston and nearby communities. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
