Content Writer - newsletters (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Nest Community Partners runs community programmes across Houston, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
