Content Writer - newsletters (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Meridian Arts Center is an arts centre in Honolulu with a full calendar of events, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
