Content Writer - newsletters (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
