Content Writer - newsletters (Fresno, CA)

Nova Linden Civic Services supports public agencies in Fresno with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
