Content Writer - newsletters (Fresno, CA)

Rivermark West Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fresno. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
