Northwind Iron Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Des Moines. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
