Ironwood Ember Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about repair requests. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
