You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
