Content Writer - newsletters (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Union Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
