Foxglove Drift Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Chicago. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 843 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • Basic SEO knowledge.
