Content Writer - newsletters (Boston, MA)

Stonegate Forge Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Boston presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
