Content Writer - newsletters (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Juniper Transit Planning and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
