Content Writer - newsletters (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove North Community Partners is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client intake. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
