Content Writer - newsletters (Austin, TX)

Bright Union Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Austin. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about accessibility audits. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
