Content Writer - help-centre articles (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Rook Community Partners runs community programmes across Virginia Beach, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
