Content Writer - help-centre articles (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Field Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
