Silverline Umber Arts Center is looking for a Content Writer. The job centres on help-centre articles for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
