Bright Mill Civic Services is looking for a Content Writer. The job centres on help-centre articles for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
