Content Writer - help-centre articles (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Drift Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Diego area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of about 918 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service installations. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
