Content Writer - help-centre articles (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about underwriting files. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
