Content Writer - help-centre articles (Rochester, NY)

Bright Forge Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Rochester presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
