Content Writer - help-centre articles (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Mill Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing disputes. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
