Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Highbridge Mill Civic Services supports public agencies in Hartford with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about procurement. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
