Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Highbridge Rook Community Partners is a Oakland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
