Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Redstone Wren Civic Services works with county and city offices around Anchorage. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
