Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Cedar Lakeside Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Chicago. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of about 942 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter readings. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
