Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Silverline Ashton Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
