Silverline Linden Civic Services supports public agencies in Oakland with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
